Satins are basically Silkies with a different feather type. They have all the traits & personality of Silkies, but instead of shredded fur like feathers, they have regular feathers with a very soft undercoat & they come in both regular & frizzled. I also have Naked Neck Satins in both regular & frizzled. Like their Silkie relatives, Satins are sweet, friendly, & love to be cuddled. I helped to create this unique breed & I've been breeding them for over 35 generations & have been showing them for at least 15 years now. They are a fairly new breed and not yet recognized but Satin fanciers are working through the process of presenting them to the ABA & APA for recognition.
