Rehoming about 7 Cohin roosters, some are mixed with Australorp. All very gentle personalities but the space is too small for all of them. Not trying to sell for meat.

My Experience or My Story: I started out with 10 Australorps a few years back they were all mailed to me. However, one I happened to name Lucky, turned out to be a super aggressive roo. We were fine until we bought 2 more Cochin hens and Lucky was happy to mate. From the chicks, 7 turned out to be roos. Now our roo to hen ratio is way to high. The roos are feeling cooped up and tend to jump on a hen, 3 at a time. I'm very attached to them as see them all as pets so I don't have the heart to cull. Looking for good homes.
Rooster temperament during breeding season: Non-aggressive but slightly impatient. Would probably work better if there were more hens or less roosters.
