Hi everyone! My origin story is a simple one. In my late 30s, I experienced an unexpected loss in my life that caused a lot of pain. Healing from this pain, I found comfort in these adorable little creatures. It was a form of therapy that became a passion I wanted to share with others. This is when I started The Hatch House and began to breed silkies and satins in a variety of colors and feather types.
