Biography
Hello, farmers. My name is Serena, and I am excited every year to show up for my local California poultry enthusiasts. I am in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California in a small rural foothill community named Tollhouse-Burrough Valley. My small poultry farm is an NPIP participant, and I enjoy everything poultry. We are raising and hatching Bielefelders, Polish, Seramas, and Silkies chickens. My boy is in 4-H, and we enjoy the competitions, so breeding according to the standard is essential; breeding fun stuff is also in a few of our pens. Current silkie projects include Mille, Red Pyle, Cuckoo, lacing, showgirls, satins, and frizzles. Current Polish projects include Tolbunt, Cuckoo, and Creole. Our SOP polish varieties are blue, black, and golden bantams. My SOP silkies include black, blue, white, partridge, and paint. My Seramas are in their first year of breeding here. I took some delicate time to collect unique birds from around the country, and now I think I have some tools to get started. Our Bielefelders are just what I want to be able to offer to folks looking for beautiful dual-purpose birds that are auto-sexed at hatch. I am eager to collaborate with you all and your farms.
